Frosty Boy Australia was founded in 1976 after an increase in demand for better quality soft serve and a larger range of affordable soft serve blends. The company was acquired by its current, private owners from a large multinational in 1999. The existing owners actively manage the business.

Our factory at Loganholme, 20 kilometres south of Brisbane, boasts state of the art equipment and facilities. The batching, blending and filling processes are computer controlled resulting in precision and accuracy. Safety processes include an in-line rare earth metal magnet, 3mm sifter, in-line check weigher and x-ray inspection of every sachet.
The laboratory ensures that every product leaving the factory has been tested for quality and integrity. Bacterial testing is also conducted on each batch by an independent laboratory before the product is released for distribution and sale.
Frosty Boy Australia manufactures under a strict HACCP Food Safety code of practice with regular audits conducted by NFSC and Asure Quality as well as external customers like YUM Restaurants. On average, the company is audited externally 15 times a year.
As a manufacturer for both the domestic and the international market, Frosty Boy Australia is inspected and approved by both federal and state agencies, as well as independent accreditation bodies and large international franchise chains.
All of Frosty Boy Australia’s products manufactured at the Loganholme plant are also certified HALAL by the Islamic Council of Western Australia and the Queensland Halal Certification Services.
